Morgan Stanley mapped out the entire AI infrastructure supply chain and it reveals who actually gets paid at every layer of the trillion dollar buildout (Save this). This heatmap breaks the AI infrastructure value chain into two dimensions those who owns and operates the data centers at the top and what physical and technical components get built underneath to make those data centers function. At the top sit the owners/operators, the hyperscalers like Meta, Alphabet, Amazon and Microsoft, alongside data center REITs, private equity giants like Blackstone and Brookfield, enterprises and neoclouds including CoreWeave and Nebius. These are the companies writing the massive capex checks that fund everything below them. Below that sits the actual build out, split into seven layers, semi production, processors, server components, servers, network, internal power/cooling and power supply. Semiconductor production is dominated by names your audience already knows well, Nvidia and AMD for GPUs, TSMC adjacent foundries, ASML and Applied Materials for capital equipment, and Micron and SK Hynix under memory/storage. But the less obvious money is in the physical infrastructure layers most retail investors never look at. Server components include passive parts from Yageo and Murata, thermal solutions from Sanyo Denki, and PCB substrates from companies like Unimicron. Network infrastructure includes InfiniBand and Ethernet gear from Nvidia and Arista, plus optical/DCI routing from Cisco and Ciena. Internal power and cooling is arguably the most underappreciated category here. It includes liquid cooling specialists like Vertiv and CoolIT, power electronics from Siemens and Eaton, and uninterruptible power supply makers like ABB and Legrand, all companies solving the literal heat and electricity problem created by cramming more GPUs into less space. So who benefits from all of this? Everyone in every box benefits in some way but the real insight is that value doesn't concentrate at just the GPU layer anymore. The hyperscalers at the top are distributing capex across seven distinct physical layers which means the picks and shovels opportunity set has expanded well beyond Nvidia into cooling, grid infrastructure, and power generation. Tesis Central: Del Sistema Económico a la Seudoeconomía En la teoría clásica, una economía es un sistema coordinado de producción, distribución y consumo caracterizado por la previsibilidad, la competencia, la existencia de una unidad de cuenta funcional y el respeto a las leyes de mercado. Lo que opera en Venezuela es una seudoeconomía: un simulacro sistémico donde se han destruido los fundamentos micro y macroeconómicos, sustituyendo la producción y la eficiencia por la anarquía de fijación de precios, la facciones de arbitraje y la improvisación monetaria. La "tasa dólar-euro" no es una falla del mercado; es un síntoma orgánico de este estado seudoeconómico. 2. Anatomía de la Seudoeconomía y la Aberración Cambiaria A. La destrucción de la Unidad de Cuenta Para que exista una economía real, la moneda debe cumplir tres funciones: medio de cambio, reserva de valor y unidad de cuenta. En Venezuela, al destruirse el Bolívar y fracturarse la dolarización informal, la seudoeconomía generó una torre de Babel monetaria. Inventar una "tasa dólar-euro" es la prueba reina de que no existe una unidad de cuenta válida: Se vende un producto cotizado en USD. Se pretende cobrar a la magnitud nominal del EUR. Se liquida o indexa de forma arbitraria según el actor de la transacción. Esto invalida cualquier cálculo de costos real, transforma la contabilidad en una ficción y demuestra que el sistema opera en el caos operativo. B. Exhaustión del Spread y la invención de "Rentas Sintéticas" En un mercado normal, las ganancias provienen del margen de utilidad sobre el costo de producción o distribución. En la seudoeconomía venezolana, durante años la ganancia no provino de la eficiencia, sino del diferencial cambiario (spread) entre el tipo de cambio oficial y el paralelo. Cuando la brecha entre el dólar BCV y el paralelo se reduce, la seudoeconomía no se ajusta mediante competitividad ni bajada de precios. En su lugar, los agentes inventan una renta sintética: la "tasa dólar-euro". Ante la imposibilidad de justificar un aumento en divisas en un entorno recesivo, distorsionan la paridad de las monedas extranjeras para extraer entre un 8% y un 15% adicional de manera artificial. C. La asimetría del "Anclaje Estatal" como coartada El Estado seudoeconómico, incapaz de emitir una moneda creíble, indexa tributos, multas y trámites al Euro. El comerciante o prestador de servicios utiliza esta distorsión institucional como coartada moral para extender la distorsión al consumidor final: Hacia el cliente: Exige la conversión a la tasa más alta (Euro) argumentando que sus costos estatales están en euros. Hacia el proveedor o empleado: Pagas a tasa dólar BCV o devalúa la mano de obra. Esta asimetría demuestra que en la seudoeconomía no rige la Ley de Un Solo Precio ni la Paridad del Poder Adquisitivo (PPA), sino la imposición del más fuerte sobre el eslabón desinformado. 3. Dimensión Socio-Conductual: La Racionalidad del Oportunismo Desde la sociología económica, la seudoeconomía moldea un actor económico degenerado por la supervivencia y el cortoplacismo. Tras años de desorden monetario e hiperinflación, la psiquis del comerciante no responde a la fidelización del cliente ni a la sostenibilidad del negocio, sino a la extracción máxima e inmediata de renta. El venezolano en este entorno prefiere violar la lógica financiera más elemental y proponer adefesios conceptuales antes que asumir la realidad de sus costos o competir por volumen. Es la economía del "matute" elevada a norma comercial. 4. Conclusión La existencia de una "tasa dólar-euro" es la confirmación empírica de que en Venezuela no hay un mercado, sino un circulo de extracción anárquica. Confirmar que vivimos en una seudoeconomía permite entender que estos adefesios no son equivocaciones técnicas del comerciante, sino mecanismos deliberados de depredación financiera en un entorno sin ley económica que lo regule.
