You have the bip110 camp with the moral high ground but little understanding of the technicals, and the bitcoiners who understand why from an engineering POV that the fork is useless. They might as well be speaking different languages. I’m all about inclusion but I’m afraid Bitcoin needs to be discussed from the technical POV, since it is software. Which means one side has to do some reading.

@hampus_s @MrHodl It does nothing to stop that. Remote code execution can just reassemble from multiple split payloads. BIP110 thinks contiguous data is the enemy, but there will always be a way to encode arbitrary data (in much more harmful ways).

@volpeLP @dotkrueger If someone is willing to pay whatever to embed data into Bitcoin, it will happen regardless of BIP110 and in a much more destructive and burdening way
