גיא חדד בעל חברת גרירת רכבים התנדב להוציא רכבים מאזור בארי אל המשפחות המפונות. בשל כך קיבל אישור כניסה לאזור 10 ימים לאחר הטבח. במקום אל ניצולי הטבח, העביר חדד את הרכבים לסוחרים ברשות הפלסטינית. היום התקבל ערעור המדינה על קלות עונשו ואל 5.5 השנים שקיבל התווספו שנתיים.
