Like others who have been enjoying the game, it's sad to see this. It's no secret the game hasn't been commercially viable for Riot, especially with the amount of time in development. There will be plenty of speculation about what went wrong and what could have been done better, but what matters to me most is that the game will still be playable after support stops. My hope is that it gets to a good state by December before balance changes freeze, and that we'll have a solid free-to-play honer's FG with excellent netcode, duos, and enough-ish characters with a good number of fuses. There's a lot of game there to play. And no more ranked mode will be interesting, especially in light of @pattheflip's article "Why ranked sucks and why we can't get rid of it". It seems like they're getting rid of it. Instead there will be a unified casual mode with skill-based matchmaking. Competition will only be available in tournaments. And a big part of why they can do this now is because the game will no longer be expected to be a commercial driver. This is weirdly relieving because it makes conversations about the game as a product incredibly boring now. People can just play without worrying about how little FGC-saving the game is doing, and the people who don't play will go doom on something else. If you like the game, keep playing. This hasn't changed.

I got some comments saying that beam loop I posted is useful, but there are more optimal and easy combos out there. This one, for example, has the same starter, uses less meter and has more damage. I find beam loops fun, but you shouldn't use them the way I did in the video :D

#tokon_goblin target combo setplay. 1 - Backward roll 2 - Neutral roll 3 & 4 - forward roll Forward roll eliminates the low option. If you back or neutral roll, you are trolling defensively.
