@PuckDontLie @LeafsPassion85 So there is still absolutely a competitive advantage for teams in the sunbelt that have 0% income tax. Its still a $17M difference between Toronto and those other markets. I agree there are other factors that can help mitigate that difference but it is still a factor

@PuckDontLie @LeafsPassion85 I think the piece that you are missing when it comes to signing bonuses is that it only benefits players that actually have residence in a tax advantage state like Arizona, Florida, Texas etc. A Canadian who signs in Toronto or Montreal does not get to use that like Auston did
