@TortosaExpat I definitely DON'T think this - if you've got 25, you've got to name 25 is a thing - it's not mentioned anywhere in the Regs But, if it is, and if we shift (for eg Ukaki), then why does "choice" only kick in then? We'd have 25, we'd have to name them as the 25, surely...

@TortosaExpat We currently have 25 contracted players who are NOT U21 eligible. Plus Romelle Donovan makes TWENTY SIX for 25 slots. If this stuff about "you are not allowed to leave anyone out of you've already got 25" is true. Then we need to shift TWO not one to get a Free Agent in.

@S13_Blade @dannyhall04 @good_pinch If you only have 23 contracted players at the end of a window. You only submit a list of 23 players at the end of that window. And you can add two free agents later. The complication here is Utd have 26 contracted players. (Excluding U21 eligible).

@dannyhall04 @good_pinch Danny Thanks. I hope someone at Bramall Lane checked the Regs in advance. Maybe even sought clarification and legal advice. On a simple reading of 44.9, the 25 is just a maximum, nothing we can find that "forces clubs to include players to make it 25.
