Dear Supreme Court of India, 140 crore Indians are busy earning money and taking care of their families. They do not have the time, money or power to fight the Government. That is why people look towards the Supreme Court for justice. Please do not wait until it is too late. Every day E20 petrol is being promoted across the country. People are told it is completely safe. Ministers openly say, "Show me one vehicle anywhere in the world that had problems because of E20." But in the Supreme Court, the Government says E20 is still under study and the final results will come next year. How can both be true? If the study is not over, why is E20 being pushed on the whole country? If everything is already proved, why tell the Supreme Court that the study is still going on? Why are people not given the choice to buy normal petrol? Why should 140 crore Indians become part of something that is still being studied? The Government has all the power. People cannot leave their jobs, spend years in court and fight the Government. That is why the Supreme Court was made, to protect the common people when nobody else can. Please ask one simple question. If E20 is still under study, why is it being forced on the people? Indian citizens are not for testing. Our vehicles, our hard earned money and our daily lives should not be put at risk without giving us a choice.

क्लास 3 के बच्चे की किताब, दस प्रतिशत डिस्काउंट के बाद मात्र 23993/– रुपए मुझे ये समझ नहीं आ रहा कि – ये प्राइवेट स्कूल वाले किताबें बच्चों को पढ़ाते या या चासनी बनाकर पिलाते है?

क्यों एक ही दुकान से स्कूलों की किताब खरीदना अनिवार्य है? स्कूल की किताब दूसरी जगह मिलेगी ही नहीं तो NCERT जैसी संस्थाएं चल ही क्यों रही है? स्कूल ड्रेस और जूते भी तय दुकान से ही लेने का दवाब पेरेंट्स पर खुलेआम बनाया जा रहा है। जिलों के कलेक्टर भी जांच क्यों नहीं कराते?

आज का सबसे बड़ा सवाल यही है – क्या हम बच्चों को पढ़ा रहे हैं, या सिर्फ किताबों के बोझ तले दबा रहे हैं? क्लास 1 के बच्चे के बैग में 15–20 किताबें ठूंस दी जाती हैं, मानो ज्ञान का वजन किलो में नापा जाता हो। लेकिन यही बच्चे 20 साल बाद डिग्री लेकर भी बेरोज़गारी की लाइन में खड़े नजर आते हैं। तो समस्या कहां है? समस्या यह है कि हमने शिक्षा को समझने के बजाय “दिखाने” का माध्यम बना दिया है। ज्यादा किताबें = अच्छी पढ़ाई, इस गलत धारणा ने पूरे सिस्टम को खोखला कर दिया है। असल में बच्चे को समझ, कौशल और सोचने की क्षमता चाहिए न कि हर विषय की मोटी-मोटी किताबें। इस स्कैम में दोषी सिर्फ स्कूल नहीं हैं, बल्कि हमारे देश का पूरा शैक्षणिक सिस्टम ही दोषी हैं। प्राइवेट स्कूल शिक्षा के नाम पर किताबों का कारोबार चला रहे हैं। 300–500 रुपये में आने वाली किताबों का सेट, कमीशन के खेल में 5–6 हजार तक पहुंचा दिया जाता है। और दुखद यह कि इनमें से कई किताबें सालभर खुलती तक नहीं हैं। इसके बावजूद भी न तो शिक्षा मंत्रालय के कान में जू रेंगता हैं और न ही जनपद स्तरीय पदाधिकारियों को कुछ दिखाई पड़ता है। आज हर माता-पिता मजबूर हैं – क्योंकि “अच्छी शिक्षा” के नाम पर सवाल उठाने से डरते हैं। स्कूल जानते हैं कि यही डर उनका सबसे बड़ा बिज़नेस मॉडल है। और इसी डर व बिजनेस मॉडल के बीच में हम बच्चों को “भविष्य” देने के लिए आज ही उनका बचपन और सोचने की आज़ादी छीन रहे हैं। हम सिर्फ किताबों का बोझ बढ़ रहा है, लेकिन समझ और कौशल से बच्चों को बहुत दूर कर रहे हैं। ~ साभार: @NCIBHQ

कुछ प्रश्न विष्णु जी से- 1. अगर कभी इतिहास में अत्याचार हुआ है या अभी हो रहा है, तो उसका जवाब आरक्षण है? 2. अगर है, तो OBC आरक्षण में क्यों हैं? 81% SC/ST एक्ट के केस तो उनपर ही लगते हैं! 3. मुस्लिम, ईसाई आरक्षण में क्यों? उनपर किसने अत्याचार किया? 4. अगर GC पर कहीं अत्याचार हो तो आरक्षण मिलना चाहिए? तो चितपावन ब्राह्मण, कश्मीरी पंडितों, सबको आरक्षण मिलना चाहिए? 5. भेदभाव तो तथाकथित पिछड़ों और दलितों में ही सबसे ज़्यादा है। SC/ST/OBC भी आपस में शादी ब्याह नहीं होता, खाना पानी नहीं होता। तो फिर आरक्षण से क्या भेदभाव हटा? 6. IIT/IIM में किसी IAS के बच्चे को आरक्षण से कम मार्क्स में एडमिशन देकर, गांव के किसी कोने में होने वाला भेदभाव कैसे हट रहा है? 7. आजकल सबसे ज़्यादा भेदभाव तो गरीबों के साथ होता है, तो आरक्षण का आधार गरीबी क्यों नहीं? 8. क्या सवर्णों पर अत्याचार नहीं हुआ? -बिहार में सवर्णों को अपना नाम बदलकर रहना पड़ा! -आज भी ब्राह्मण बनिया भारत छोड़ो, भूराबाल साफ करो के नारे लगते हैं! तो इसको अत्याचार नहीं मानेंगे हम? 9. पिछले 70 सालों में आरक्षण से किस जाति को अगड़ा बना दिया गया? कितनी जातियों ने आरक्षण छोड़ा? आरक्षण की लिस्ट दुगुनी, तिगुनी क्यों हो गई? 10. तो ऐसा आरक्षण किस काम का, जो आज़तक एक जाति का उद्धार नहीं कर सका? और इसको क्यों जारी रखना चाहिए?

आज का मुद्दा UGC में जाति आधारित भेदभाव तक सीमित है। जनरल कैटेगरी को बाहर करना गलत है, लेकिन पिछड़ों को अधिकार मिलना जरूरी है। समाज को एकजुट रहना चाहिए, इसे सवर्ण बनाम अन्य की लड़ाई न बनाएं।

Every devotee deserves a proper and dignified darshan. How can some be treated as VIPs in God’s temple while the rest struggle like this. Many temples in India have well managed systems for smooth darshan. Such systems should be implemented across the country. Most importantly, VIP darshan culture needs to be ended immediately. Faith must be equal for all.
