@skipperdo @WomensHoops_USA I think in this scenario you gotta go with players that’s warm and not players who been on the bench cold who may take a few possessions to warm up. If you watched this til the end yes they were exhausted but every possession mattered.

@Thallbuju @zayfromdasouf15 @Eyi_Wonder Because they matched her contract offer they can’t trade her unless she request a trade. So i wouldn’t count on her being traded. And if she does request it wouldn’t be to those teams. Thats not how this front office works. They flip talent for high draft picks or young talent.

It’s been a really nice week for Michaela Onyenwere, who scored 17 points in back-to-back games against teams with winning records. Tomorrow, she’ll look to finish the week strong when the Washington Mystics face another team with a winning record in the (9-4) New York Liberty. The six-year veteran opened the week with 17 points against the (8-5) Indiana Fever before following it up with another 17-point performance and eight rebounds in a win over the (7-6) Toronto Tempo. Those performances marked her third and fourth double-digit scoring games of the season, and the Mystics are (3-1) when she scores at least 10 points. What’s stood out most is the variety in how she’s gotten her points. Against Indiana, much of her damage came from beyond the arc. Against Toronto, she found success attacking the basket and getting downhill. Everyone knows the young core of Sonia Citron, Shakira Austin, and Kiki Iriafen has been leading the way, but Onyenwere is showing she can be another weapon for a Mystics team that has its sights set on a playoff spot. ✨

@ap0tent @HawkHerky @Underdog I think we can give OM all the grace because she’s a rookie, a one assists and six turnover game isn’t a big deal compared to how she’s been playing. I think the problem is folks saying she’s the best player in the league but then it’s she’s only a rookie when it’s bad stats.
