This is so awesome it inspired me to roll my own with the ACTUAL super mario bros :) Complete with opacity settings.
Someone built a transparent Mario game that runs OVER IDE so can play while waiting for Copilot to write code.
Earlier this year, @bchelf and I made the difficult decision to wind down @solreader, the next-gen e-reader company we founded. I couldn’t be prouder of what we built. The product completely sold out, lots of people have said that it completely changed their lives, and it's an honor to know that many of our users will continue to use the Sol Reader long after the company has wound down. Thanks to the whole Sol team and those who helped make this crazy idea a reality. We learned so many lessons, and if you'd like to hear how the last days went down, check out the Sol Reader blog.

Remember The Jetsons? Rosie the Robot Maid, flying cars, coffee robots, 3D printed food, etc. What’s the common thread? Devices built to do fewer things each, but each thing perfectly. This has been our design philosophy at Sol from day 1. Make reading as magical as possible.
I wonder if Humane would be better if it literally was known to do just one magical thing very well, like a realtime babelfish with no delay perfect translation And then adding features as needed. Remember iPhone had no apps on day zero.
Parents - want to solve the devices problem for your young kids? Give them something better for less than 100 bucks. Thanks @johnboiles for hacking this together - easy enough since the MCU is the @solreader one. Add some books and this is exactly what I want my kids to have.
