So @Tesco why are you adding FOLIC ACID to your allegedly 'finest' WHOLEMEAL bread? A: FA is exempt in wholemeal & B: it actively fuels cancer, plus a whole host of people have to actively try & avoid it as advised by NHS. As a CANCER patient, I really would like an answer

NURSE FILMS DYING PATIENTS Margaret Haywood spent 20 years as a nurse before deciding the truth mattered more than her career. In 2004 she agreed to wear a hidden camera for BBC Panorama @BBCPanorama inside the Royal Sussex Hospital in Brighton, run at the time by Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust, now University Hospitals Sussex @UHSussex. The hospital had a 0-star rating from regulators and an £8m deficit. Numbers rarely lie, even when hospitals do. Over 28 shifts across 6 months she filmed what the trust did not want anyone to see. A patient left to die alone. Another left waiting hours just to use the toilet. The footage aired in 2005 as Undercover Nurses and the public was horrified. The Nursing and Midwifery Council @nmcnews was less horrified by the neglect than by the filming. In April 2009 they struck Haywood off the nursing register for breaching patient confidentiality. The backlash was instant. Over 43,000 people signed a Royal College of Nursing petition. An MP raised her case in Parliament. Turns out the public had a clearer sense of right and wrong than the regulator did. 3 days before her High Court appeal, the NMC quietly climbed down. Her ban was swapped for a 1 year caution and she got her job back. She later won the public vote at the Nursing Standard Nurse of the Year Awards. She exposed neglect. Why aren't more doctors speaking out about folic acid? Doctors have a duty to speak out in name of patient safety. Where are cardiologist protecting patients with stents? Where are oncologists protecting cancer patients? Where are neurologistsprotecting the B12 deficient?

🚨🇬🇧 The UK government has responded to the petition regarding folic acid in flour. The UK Government is forcing synthetic folic acid into all non-wholemeal wheat flour from the end of 2026. This affects 70 million people to supposedly prevent just 200 neural tube defect cases a year. It’s not just bread it means almost every everyday product made with white or brown flour: pasta, pizza bases, cakes, biscuits, pastries, pies, crackers, and most processed baked goods. Men and children get zero benefit, yet studies have linked higher folic acid intake to increased prostate cancer risk in men. They’re choosing mass medication of the entire population through our staple foods instead of targeted supplements for women who actually need it. This is being forced on us without real choice. It will appear in the ingredients list, but there’ll be no clear warning on the front of the pack. Natural folate from food is one thing this unnatural synthetic chemical is another. Sign the petition in the comments we need to at least have a debate on this. Please share with as many people as possible.

McDonald's loses lawsuit against chef Jamie Oliver, who proved that the food they sell is unfit for human consumption because it is highly toxic. Chef Jamie Oliver won a lawsuit against the world's largest fast-food chain. Oliver demonstrates how hamburgers are made. According to Oliver, fatty cuts of meat are "washed" with ammonium hydroxide and then used to fill the hamburger patties. Even before this process, the TV presenter says, this meat was unfit for human consumption. Oliver, a radical activist chef taking on the food industry, says: "We are talking about meat that is sold as dog food and then served to humans. Aside from the quality of the meat, ammonium hydroxide is harmful to health." Oliver calls it "the pink slime process." What sane person would put a piece of meat soaked in ammonium hydroxide into a child's mouth? In another initiative, Oliver demonstrated how chicken nuggets are made: After the "best parts" are selected, the rest—fat, skin, cartilage, eyes, bones, head, feet—is subjected to a mechanical separation process called "Canica"—a euphemism used by food engineers. This blood-pink paste, which is deodorized, bleached, refreshed, and re-colored, is then coated in flour and deep-fried. It is typically fried in partially hydrogenated oils—in other words, toxic substances. The food industry uses ammonium hydroxide as an antimicrobial agent, allowing McDonald's to use meat in its hamburgers that is unfit for human consumption. Even more alarming, however, is the fact that these ammonium-hydrogen-based substances are considered "legal components of the production process" in the global food industry, with the approval of health authorities. Consequently, consumers will never know what substances are in their food. Please stop giving this fake food to your children.
