This is also the secret to healing from addiction. The answers come from getting outside help, whether from a mentor, AA / NA, a treatment program or other loving, skilled intervention...

@ashlittle_lobes The first step is doing exactly what you did... reaching out for help. Residential treatment programs are often ideal to "reboot" your life away from day-to-day pressures, but start wherever you can. For example, talk to a friend who got sober. Or go to an NA or AA meeting.

I found that I could not get clean until I was willing to come clean in all areas of life. A partial confession would not, & does not suffice. I had to confess every aspect of my #addiction.
