@AdamBassOfMass She is incredibly dangerous. To suggest such a thing is abhorrent. Her “policies” are ridiculous - children in every state stand/recite the Pledge of Allegiance every day. This is identity politics but she is clearly a mouthpiece for someone who has this well thought out.

First--and this should be obvious--don't write your kid's essay. Not even a draft. There are two reasons for this. One, of course, is that the reader can tell when something is written by a 17-year-old vs. when it's written by a 50-year-old.

FOIA/Open records requests to #admissions offices are so predictable & unimaginative- usually about athletes, test scores, or some other sub-demographic. Where's the one asking for the meanest/most insulting emails received post-decision. That would be an article worth reading...

PSA 🧵for seniors: 1- You're entering the "business" part of the cycle as you make college selections, deposit, & begin the matriculation phase. It's more important than ever to READ EVERYTHING you receive closely (maybe even aloud), or have a family member read too.

Brief 🧵- I just received an email from an 8th grader entitled “admission fears” asking for advice. Honestly, if you’re not yet a junior in high school, my best advice is simply- BE A GOOD HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT! Go back to class. Invest in your school & local community.
