@acrimsonnerd @zastier @GOGcom Back in the day games came on a disc and you had something called an installer on the disc that you ran and it installed the game from the disc. There was no connection to the internet. The offline installer from GOG is the same thing. It basically just decompresses the files.

@GOGcom I would buy all of my games from GOG (I already have a bunch from GOG) if all the games I wanted to play were on GOG. Unfortunately a lot of games I want to play are infested with DRM.
