@matthiasgiger No. It's about selling unrealistic product based on unrealistic assumptions. Incremental backups are already invented (Postgres PITR, for instance) and they're great. But they're ALWAYS based on trustable complete backups taken regularly.
@matthiasgiger And you think nobody else had that idea before because magnetic or optical supports are ideal and don't degrade as time passes. And, of course, errors in backup processes doesn't exist and you don't need to test your backups regularly to ensure they are actually recoverable…
