EXPOS3D is not an NFT drop or a conventional exhibition. Nothing is for sale. It’s the culmination of seven years in Web3 and almost a year of laser focus and relentless work. And it's a major investment in my future as an artist. Violet has been telling me since 2023 that I need to put my time, energy and money into my art rather than castle parties, and she was right. Violet is always right! 😂 I’ve never been happier creating and working toward this show, even with the stress. At this stage I’m just hoping that what I see in my head will come close to what takes shape in Custom House next week when we begin setting up. And while it’s absolutely terrifying at times (I've not slept much the last month), that’s also what excites me. This is about taking a massive risk once again and striving to build something bigger. I believe it points to where galleries and museums are heading: immersive, multi-layered, interactive, narrative driven and deeply experiential. I’m doing this because I want to prove that a fine art exhibition can be more than a showcase of works for sale, static paintings on walls, badly displayed screens with digital art in auction houses, or light projections of dead artists' paintings with accompanying music. It can be a prototype for the future, a cultural experience that inspires audiences and opens doors to what comes next. I don’t know if it’ll pay off. Since the start of my career I’ve poured all my resources into art experiments with no guarantees. Many failed, sometimes spectacularly, but failure has always been the cost of trying something new. This time I feel quietly confident. I believe it can be a turning point. But whatever the outcome, the future of art is not passive. It will surround you, watch you, engage with you and draw you in. This is what I’m trying to build with #EXPOS3D.
