Therefore, when you, your parents and/or the core of the principles you stand for are rubbished and/or disrespected, it is appropriate and definitely Ọmọlúabí-like to disrespect the person in such disproportionate manner that would make them regret trying it with you. Your child does not need to accumulate such debt. I will show you how. A lot of times when God wants to teach you something, he lets you experience it firsthand. I went back to UK University at age 30 as an undergraduate. In my class, I had a lot of people around the age of 20. So I asked questions and they showed me in detail what "degree apprenticeship" is. I went to research. There are hundreds of thousands of degree apprenticeships every year in different career paths. Accounting, Tech, Engineering, etc. Most major companies have apprenticeship programmes. Once your child applies with their GCSE, A levels, and other equivalent qualifications, and they get in, they would generally attend University one day a week, and work in the office or site 4 days a week. The company will pay for their education, and still pay them monthly salary for their work. Imagine they get into an apprenticeship at 18. By the time they are 23, they already have 5 years of work experience and a degree. A director of an electrical company was telling me he prefers an apprentice to a fresh graduate because the apprentice already had a couple of years of on-the-job experience. VIDEO: Moment Black Girl Was Overlooked During Medal Presentation In Ireland A video showing a moment when a female sports official decided to skip a black girl, who was among medalists at a Irish tournament, has surfaced on social media. The video, which was said to have been taken in March 2022, shows a lineup of young gymnasts awaiting their awards, with the little black girl excitedly waiting for her medal before being overlooked as her white peers were each given an award. After reemerged footage of the incident went viral this week, Gymnastics Ireland issued a public apology for the incident, after the girl's parents claimed the alleged snub was motivated by racism. The sporting body claimed the issue had been settled in August but the young girl's mother has denied this, claiming the family had not received a genuine apology. Gymnastics Ireland said that it engaged with the woman, who is now no longer a member of the sporting body after she chose not to renew her membership. The sporting body said, "The official concerned said that upon realising the mistake they immediately rectified it and ensured that the competitor concerned was presented with her medal before she left the Field of Play. "The official also expressed deep regret for what they described as an honest error and requested the opportunity to apologise in person to the competitor and her family. This request was initially declined. "A written apology provided by the identified individual has since been issued to the competitor and her family. The big question for us as youths, is how do we increase our value. Layi does short skits that are valuable to us, and will deliver endorsement money to his account. Your parents having a beautiful/toxic relationship does not guarantee you'll have one too. Being loved at home or not, will not determine the fate of your relationship. You'll have to decide for yourself what kind of relationship you want. You can use your environment as a lesson or an example. The choice is yours. You accept the love you think you deserve. This also applies to how you raise kids. You can decide to copy your environment because you like how you were raised or disregard it because you loathe it. It is always a choice. Environment gives exposure but you are solely responsible for your choices.
