@tinaksharma I have strongly believed for a good while now that comments other medics make, and even non-medics actually too, when you declare your interests in a particular specialty, say a huge amount more about them than they do about you. (DOI: Pathologist, "it's just dead people, right")

@DoverMarian It took me 4 attempts to pass mine. These exams are not always (possibly often) a reflection of our ability to do the job. They are a different skill. You can do it. I had 18m of life coaching and became v good at failing. It hurts for a bit tho. Be kind to yourself.

Pathology is learning a new language. You cannot be fluent in an entirely new language until you've used that language for many years. Tell them.
