@HankYeomans It’s a dog whistle. It’s quiet enough for those not clued in to skip over it, but loud enough for those receptive to the message to hear it. “Thug” has been used this way for a while too. “Globalist”=jewish, etc.

@vByronM @standaloneSA It’s a way to make the lives of the prisoners as miserable as possible and deny them as many rights as possible. To further the notion that was started at Guantanamo that the constitution does not apply to people not on US soil.
