@pwnies Usually the page when working on something new, so I’ll have all my explorations closeby in one file for “cross pollination”, collecting feedback and picking the winning designs. I’d duplicate the file when forking something that spans many pages like a whole UI kit for example
@skuwamoto While at it: Scaling (not resizing) with numerical input (200%) and without plugin would be 🐐. Also never stopped missing the nifty way Sketch came up with to resize while keeping alignments by putting l/c/r/t/b next to the number, e.g. width: 375c(enter), height: 64b(ottom)
@skuwamoto Love that! Boring but ubiquitous thing that could benefit from some care: Icons. Currently takes some effort, know how and hacks to make them so that they can be selected, colorized and scaled easily. Thinking of a “scale strokes” toggle and a color property for example.

@lukasoppermann Usually, I’d pair color tokens (color styles) for background fills and shadow tokens (effect styles) for the shadow for each level of elevation. Background fill becomes lighter in dark theme, shadow disappears. Depends a bit on the desired appearance for sure.
@lukasoppermann Ah right, that would now be doable thanks to absolute positioning in Figma. Wasn’t an option yet when I originally looked into it.

@lukasoppermann @svorklab +1 for Primitives. I feel it helps with clarity to have two distinct terms for surface level tokens and primitives, which are meant to be used internally/below the surface only.
