@peterrbb Right, forgot to highlight that current Qubic performance is worst-case performance. Without batching of transactions to be sent from a few addresses and thus evading signature verification bottleneck.

Hello. Qubic is indeed having a problem currently, it's a recurring problem we face time to time. In short, Qubic is too powerful and load of transactions cannot slow down block generation significantly. With too quick blocks and default wallet settings user transactions expire before they can be picked by miners for confirmation. The core team is trying to artificially slow down Qubic, in the meanwhile, you might increase default +10 ticks to +50 or more.

I confirm. Go to #Qubic discord and run Anna.exe published there, you will see that upon improvement of fitness function score of the training set (green column) you often get improvement of the validation set (yellow column). In a several weeks this architecture will be deployed to the #Qubic network as open source code and you'll become able to confirm it yourself.
