In contrast, Latin doesn’t have the same associated intentions in its phantasmata. Therefore, it’s better in a celebration where the “object” (used in its technical, Scholastic sense) is something “higher” than earthly intentions.
But there can be multiple (implicit) intentions in a single linguistic item that can vary the signification of the term. So using a living language (e.g., English) for the celebration of the mass serves to “turn” the intellect towards “lower” things.
Pretty sure that 600mg of caffeine and that 40mg of adderall is giving me a heart attack. If I die, post my essay on the necessity of the TLM - the cogitative power apprehends intentions in linguistic items (ie., signs), and presents them to the intellect via phantasmata.
