Kansas City head coach Billy Donlon is expected to mutually part ways with the school, source told @Stadium. Separation is pending final negotiations. Coming off a 19-12 season (most wins for program in 30 years), and has won 46 games in his three years since taking over.

With Bashir Mason leaving Wagner, it will be interesting to see who @whamelin tabs to lead the Seahawks. Wagner ranks as the No. 6 recruiter in the NEC.

Strategy hot takes: Going for two to play a foul game while down four isn't extending the game, it's just losing slowly while lowering your chances at winning. Going 1-on-1 ISO for an end of game shot is a bad play and usually ends in a bricked fade away.

You can't judge an assistant promoted to head coach after one season. The team will stay about the same, then year 2 and beyond its a crapshoot. Regular season success correlates with future head coaching success better than postseason tournament runs.

@jensenoffcampus @PhillyInquirer Dunphy: Good coach effect, with average recruiting effect. We'd expect him to improve the Explorers. Out of all four A10 coaching hires, we expect that Dunphy improves his team the most.
