25 years ago today, UCF won on a last-second FG at Bama on their homecoming for UCF’s 1st win against a “P5”. That 2000 Bama team started the season as #3 in the AP. Bama fired their coach & has not played UCF since. UCF is 1-0 against them all time.

I have been saying it all game but any/all UCF fans truly need to shout out @TNTSportsUS , @JB_Long , @mikegolicjr , and the rest of the crew for this amazing broadcast from pregame, to halftime, and the entire game. It was clear they studied up a lot on the teams playing and put ALL of their focus on the game/universities. This is such a breath of fresh air as most broadcasts put the majority of its focus on the "big" games and the fans at home watching feel disrespected as if their game does not matter. The entire TNT crew made it feel like this was the only game on and the most important one at that. If this is truly what the @Big12Conference is to expect moving forward with TNT, I cannot wait to watch any/all games on the network. I cannot think of a single aspect they "screwed up" on from the banter, to the camera angles, the random deep cuts, the quality of the cameras used (seemed to be a much better quality than any recent UCF game including those on "larger" networks), etc.

Christmas Eve 19 yrs ago, @UCF_Football traveled 4,800 miles for its 1st ever Bowl Game In the 2005 Hawaii Bowl. @BMarshall had 3 TDs & 211 receiving yards. Although the Golden Knights* lost on a rare 💔 missed FG by Matt Prater, it was an incredible season after going winless in 2004. ⚔️🏈⚔️ *UCF were Golden Knights until 2007
