@TomMarsLaw Sort of bizarre how you argue that it benefits MOST schools and fans to have larger transfer windows. It benefits the handful of agents and rich schools. FCS & G5 fans watched rich schools poach their best players after spring practice, sometimes to be backups.

@AliceFromQueens @ghparker9 I think you are missing part of the math. It is unecessary to include a denominator in a stat if the denominator cancels out. Define DANGEROUS as a combination of LIKEABILITY and LETHALITY. Pitts/total dogs defines LIKEABILITY. Kills/dog defined LETHALITY. Total dog # cancels.

@AliceFromQueens @jaedme @avidseries Its okay that people find us (careful, precise, rational thinkers) annoying sometimes. My wife is annoyed when I rationally defeat her incorrect opinions, but she loves me the rest of the time. Losing debates is annoying. These people only see you when you're beating them.

@torovolt @simongerman600 I agree. I'd prefer ST, but I dont think thats achievable. I dont know if i prefer changing clocks or permanent DST...both are bad. I would accept the 30 min compromise.

@torovolt @simongerman600 India does this. The issue is more complicated than maximizing solar noons. Some want it to be light out when kids walk to school to improve safety (ST). Some want daylight later in the evenings to allow more time for outdoor activities after work (DST).

@soph8873 @RapSheet It sounds like suppl. drafts arent a common thing. Its for extenuating circumstances. The league doesnt want top tier kids with college eligibility remaining to wait until after the traditional draft to declare so they can avoid the bad teams who have the top picks.

@JLK7299 @AndyStaples The lockout would be illegal collusion. The leagues can only coordinate their employment/payment actions after there is a union to bargain against. Thats one of many reasons why a union is a bad idea for blue chip players.

@GrandBeggar @hollowearthterf I didnt misunderstand. I'm explaining the same phenomenon that you are explaining. "Healthy at any size" is a fringe movement on the left. Some on the right conflated this with the mainstream "body positivity" movement bc both forbid you calling an obese person unhealthy.
