I honestly think the admins of this fanbase or voting team are inexperienced when it comes to running a fanbase because this is such a rookie take. I want to say so many things about their statement, but let me address this question: "How can we pressure them or the company for something they didn't even ask us to vote for?" This is such a weak argument, and it's exactly why so many people are frustrated. Fans weren't voting because the company explicitly told them to. We voted because we wanted to give the group every possible opportunity to succeed. That's literally how fandoms work. Companies don't have to ask fans to organize voting campaigns, spend money, or dedicate countless hours. Fans do it because they care. But once fans have poured months of time, money, and effort into creating an opportunity, they have every right to question how that opportunity was handled. The issue has never been whether the company asked us to vote. The issue is how they responded after fans made that opportunity possible. What people are criticizing is the implication that an opportunity fans worked so hard to secure was treated like a burden rather than something to be appreciated. That't what people are upset about. Saying, "Well, they never asked you to vote," completely misses the point. By that logic, companies get to benefit from fan labor whenever it's convenient, but the moment fans express disappointment, they're told they have no right to complain because "no one asked." That’s not accountability. That's an excuse. So stop hiding behind the "they didn’t ask us to vote" argument. If that's your standard, then no fan has the right to feel disappointed about anything they voluntarily do for their idols. Billboard ads nalang daw good for 2 days instead of a long-term promotion given by an actual song that'll definitely expose AHOF to a variety of people, even outside Kpop. FnF, ayusin mo bohai mo ah. I get that the group may be bombarded with schedules, but if you truly want to promote them in thought of ACTUAL GROWTH, be wise. Such OSTs will not just showcase their talents, it'll be a vvv valuable opportunity for them to build their careers.
