A frightening video shows criminals trying to break into a house in Mahatshula East. Fortunately, one of the residents heard suspicious noises and managed to record the face of one of the suspects during the attempted break-in.
Anyone who can identify this man is urged to report to the nearest @PoliceZimbabwe station immediately.

PLEASE SHARE🙏🏾 | I am asking for help to find my vehicle, which was hijacked at gunpoint on 17 April 2026 at around 1PM. The vehicle is a grey Nissan Note with registration number AGG 8200.
On that day, I was travelling with a colleague when we were stopped at a police roadblock at Highglen Flyover. I did not have my driver’s licence with me at the time, as I had left it at home.
While the police officers were still dealing with us, a man and a woman approached the vehicle. The man identified himself as a CID officer from the Homicide Department. He asked me why I had been stopped, and I explained the situation.
He then spoke to the police officers and also told them that he was CID. After that, the officers handed over my vehicle keys to him and escorted him to the car. A female officer instructed that he should drive the vehicle and take me home.
The man then drove my vehicle to a service station at Aspindale Shops, where he refuelled. He later said he needed to collect something from Marimba Police Station, claiming it was his workplace.
Shortly after passing the traffic lights, he suddenly pulled out a firearm and threatened me, ordering me to get out of the vehicle. Fearing for my life, I complied.
He then drove off with my car. I got help from another motorist and we tried to follow him, but the vehicle we were using ran out of fuel near Budiriro 2 shops.
I am appealing to anyone who may have seen the vehicle or has any information to please come forward.

When did it become acceptable to interrogate a 14-year-old on camera?
Is it ethical to interview a minor without the knowledge or consent of their parents?
You cover her face then ask her name? So whats the point when you have revealed her Identity?
And why is the focus not on the adult the “Mumba” guy who is mentioned as a boyfriend?
Where is all the money from license fees collected by the Reprographic Rights Organisation of Zimbabwe (RROZ) going⁉️
These guys came and said we are a new organization we are taking money for licenses to everyone who is operating and owns printing machines. I argued with them if they are legit and to whom the money is going to. Their boss who is the CEO starts intimidating my team when he can't answer the questions.
I called several police offices and they were failing to know the organization even the police that came with him were saying its their first time to hear about the organization. He threatened to take the machinery and even hired a truck to come and take the machines. Even when you see the EcoCash account he says can receive the lisences money is his personal phone number. Many small printing businesses in town are falling victim to this organization.
All we need to know if this organization is legit. w
Who gave them authority to collect money from companies? Where is the money collected being remitted to? Does the ministry of finance know this? Is @ZACConline_ aware of these people? No answer so far from Licence inspectorate as no one is in full know-how of these people.
We were forced to pay something as showed on their receipt as they were disturbing our business operations. From the look of it they look bogus with how they demand the payment and way they operate. Who gave them the right to threaten and collect people's equipment?

This is Heartbreaking | Five family members are currently trapped by flooding since Sunday on the Thekwane River in Ndolwane, Plumtree.
A desperate plea for help has emerged from villagers in Bhutshe, Ndolwane (Plumtree District), where five people believed to be from the same family are reportedly trapped on an island in the flooded Thekwane River.
According to villagers, the group is marooned on a river island that is rapidly being submerged, forcing them to cling to trees as water levels continue to rise following days of relentless rainfall. The incident reportedly occurred on Sunday 21 December 2025, when the five were attempting to cross the Thekwane River using a donkey-drawn cart while returning from harvesting mopane worms. During the crossing, the river surged, sweeping away the donkeys and leaving the family stranded on the island. The trapped individuals have been identified by villagers as:
- Lethiwe (born 1977)
- Wiseman (born 2009)
- Marylene (born 2010)
- Bhorongi (14 years old)
- Gogo Na Trial (date of birth unknown)
Villagers who contacted this platform described scenes of panic and distress, saying they are camped along the riverbanks, keeping vigil and hoping for a rescue. Some callers were audibly crying and hysterical, expressing deep concern over the worsening situation.
Residents claim the matter has been reported to the police repeatedly over the past three days, but no rescue attempt has yet been made. One villager said police indicated they were waiting for the Civil Protection Unit (CPU), which is trained for such rescue operations. Villagers warn that every minute counts. Hunger is setting in, and they report that some of the trapped individuals are on medication, increasing the risk to their lives as time passes.
Efforts to obtain a comment from the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) in Ndolwane were unsuccessful, as their phone went unanswered at the time of publishing.
This incident comes amid widespread flooding across the region, where heavy rains over the past week have caused significant damage to homes, roads, bridges, and swollen rivers, leaving several communities vulnerable. Villagers are urgently calling on authorities to act before it is too late.

This video of a young male student beating up a female student because she said she does not want to be in a relationship with him is wrong on so many levels.
I will start with the simplest issue. The person recording and just watching is as culpable as the idiot committing the violence. He should have intervened and stopped this coward from assaulting an innocent girl.
The boy carrying out the violence is wicked and dangerous. This is the kind of behaviour that grows into a violent man, a violent partner, someone who cannot take no for an answer. That mindset is already visible here.
Women and girls have agency and the absolute right to reject a proposal. When a woman says she does not want you, you respect that decision. You do not intimidate her. You do not force yourself on her.
What we are seeing here is also a reflection of upbringing and socialisation. This kind of violence is learned. A boy who thinks this is acceptable behaviour has likely seen it normalised at home or in his community, perhaps watching a father abuse a mother and believing that it is acceptable.
I never saw my father lift a hand or even raise his voice against my mother. That is why this is so disturbing. The Zimbabwean police must identify this young man and deal with him decisively. If such behaviour is ignored, these are the same young men who later become murderers because violence has been normalised in their minds.
Beating a woman because she said no is not strength. It is weakness of character, weakness of mind, and moral failure.
I also want to commend this young girl. She showed courage in the face of brutality. If anyone knows her, please identify her. I want to do something for her. She deserves recognition for standing up to a cowardly bully.
And to the Zimbabwe Republic Police @PoliceZimbabwe, this is what we have been saying for years, to you and to the political elites who routinely use violence against citizens. Violence has been normalised in our society.
Children have grown up watching the police use force against civilians. They have seen soldiers brutalise and kill citizens, and they have learned from it. They now believe that violence is acceptable and that every dispute must be settled through force.
This is not happening in a vacuum. This culture of violence has been taught, demonstrated, and tolerated from the top. What we are witnessing in our streets and schools is a mirror of what the state has normalised. This, too, is on your doorstep.

PLEASE SHARE 🙏🏾 | Hi everyone. I met this lady at Harare Hospital. She was hit by a car in a hit-and-run accident. None of her relatives seem to know where she is. She said her name is Grace Gwadana, and she has two children, Ruvarashe and Junior.
It appears she suffered a head injury, as she sometimes forgets things. She is in Room 17, Bed Number 4. The nurses said she needs X-rays for her treatment, but money is required for this to happen.
Please share this message so that her family can be found and she can get the help she needs.
