@selfdfens Because studios force popularity casting. It’s likely a studio demand. White Lotus seems to hire a lot of character actors and unknowns, so my guess from a production accounting pov…because I work in TV, they have to add in a character with big social media numbers/pop appeal.

@ohyessratii First of all, there is 3X the beauty in this photo. I don’t get how they look “a mess” they look like people look backstage with comfy clothes over performance clothes.
