@mojavelinux @zulip Have you limited who can edit topics, and for how long? I'm guessing folks can't resolve older topics. I think we need to clarify in zulip.com/help/resolve-a… that the topic editing timings are relevant: zulip.com/help/configure…

@felix_led @marcotomamichel @WoodsMischa @InriaQinfo Most small-to-medium classes never hit those limits, we find. But if you do, and the discounted educational rates are a financial burden, we're generally happy to sponsor non-profit educational classes for free -- drop [email protected] a line.

@simonw If you've not seen it already, cybergibbons.com/security-2/why… W3W is widely reviled in the search and rescue world, too.

@obra Probably nbcbayarea.com/news/local/ars… But the armed guards (in addition to all of the "asset protection" wandering around) predated that.

@jtu Probably crop spraying: youtube.com/watch?v=gpgnN3… flightaware.com/resources/regi… says it's owned by "AERIAL CONTROL" which does "chemicals" transport: safer.fmcsa.dot.gov/query.asp?sear… And that area is all farmland: google.com/maps/@37.70684…

@bascule @zulip Thanks for the report! It's a little difficult for us to replicate without Advanced Protection already enabled. Can you see if it has the same problem with github.com/zulip/zulip-de…, which that's just a proxy for? Have you had any problems with other side-loaded .dmg apps?

@altluu @danluu Ah, OK! Last summer, we fixed a half dozen subtle bugs in the compose box involving undo and drafts not being saved, including in some of the situations you mention. Bug reports are always appreciated at github.com/zulip/zulip/is… or chat.zulip.org.

@altluu @danluu Those all sound very frustrating. :( How long ago was this, roughly?

@altluu @danluu Gah, that's bad. Do you happen to have (or remember) any more of the contents of the JSON blob, or the full URL that the browser was then at, to help diagnose?

@danluu 👋 Zulip developer here! Can you talk a bit more about how and when Zulip is losing text for you? Either here or on zulip.com/development-co… would be helpful! Do they end up in your drafts, zulip.com/help/view-and-…?

@seraphyn @zulip You're welcome! Where in the documentation did you think to go look first? We'd like to help make that place clearer about using ident, in case other folks have the same question.

@kevinriggle As great a story as it is, I believe @HalfwayPost is satire, given their tagline: "Liberal Comedy & Halfway Real Satirical News"

@codestat_dev @zulip @CoqLang @JuliaLanguage \w+ doesn't include hyphens, which are common in domains (like rust-lang!), so it's actually almost twice that!
