👍I feel strongly in favor of NOT using foo, bar, and baz in code examples. Our brain learns best by anchoring new concepts by analogy to concepts that we already understand. Using filler words complicates an already challenging learning process by adding additional abstraction.

Note to all instructors, especially Computer Science When u use generic names for ex. "foo, bar, artificial, amazing, subpackage, etc"- ur learner cannot connect w/ the info & often get confused. Demonstrate info w/ real concepts! Make learning easy! #languagematters
