On 12th July 2026 @TheMTTrust will be holding its annual open door event at Burscough. There will be a chance to see the MTT's collection along with the Class 502 which will be open to view.

As usual, the Class 502 Preservation Trust will have their stand at @RainhillMRC’s 2026 show this weekend (7-8 March). We will have our usual range of souvenirs on sale, and some of our volunteers will be on hand to talk about the latest progress on the unit’s restoration.
