GREAT alternative to the approach of "You used ChatGPT to cheat so let me punish you." 👇👇👇

A student turned in work that was flagged by #gptzero. I plugged her work into #chatGPT asking it to create 5 quiz questions on the work. The student got 4 right, sat down to research the one she got half wrong and was learning the vocab word/term that threw her off. Gray area

Trying to understand #ChatGPT and what is means for the future of how we teach writing. Biggest piece that stood out to me while reading this: "If we assume students want to learn - and I do - we should show our interest in their learning, rather than their performance."
