Eugene has its faults, but there isn’t anywhere else in the US that can come close to replicating the facilities, weather (today was about as good as it gets for everyone) and fan atmosphere across all disciplines. This is still #TracktownUSA.
Hard to imagine you’ll find a better hour of track all year than what we just witnessed. Six track finals, six Olympic Trials records, and a world record to cap it all off. (Hat tip @AdamKilgoreWP on the stat)

There might be other issues with hosting in Eugene, but this was the biggest crowd any of these throwers have had in the US all year. Those are all facts.
