@JerpaDerpa Indeed, it is Cascade. Caveat is that different hand motions can produce the basic "downward pickslanting" technique needed for EJ's stuff, so a quick watch of our more fundamental lessons, like this one, is a good idea before the specialized seminar: troygrady.com/channels/talki…

@Fi62000313 Technically we are not aware of anything specific. But Steve Morse and Michael Angelo Batio are both left handed so there could be something! Why is right-hand picking, and not fretting, considered right-handed?

Here's a cool idea that popped up during some routine practice. Triplets cause the picking to flip, but with a crosspick-style motion path, you won't really feel the difference between the inside & outside string changes…opening up creative possibilities! youtube.com/watch?v=8Axr5q…
