@McpeSlader93052 @Maliykus mostly disagree on this I have tons of fun with the PVP in just about every fromsoft game i've played. I get why people don't like but I see it as a nice way to give teams a problem that can't be read like a common enemy.

@TheAngelOfBaal It's bad in a historical sense as it was a catch all term for eastern swords making all of these (and many more) the same. What makes this term even worse is we already have a word for single edged curved swords which is saber.

@Ragnar_Rough @nonregemesse good to keep in mind that Europeans didn’t really have one opinion on easterners at the same time this term was being used man courts would invite people like Arabs and Tatar “knights” seeing them as worthy of respect while at the same time many would distrust them on principle

@Ragnar_Rough @nonregemesse More of a medieval thing if I remember correctly the term scimitar was coined during the renaissance. Also one city having good steel doesn’t really mean they didn’t think of others were inferior.
