Moderate coastal flooding is forecast this evening, generally a couple hours either side of the 9:30 PM high tide. Water levels should reach 7.5’ in the harbor, and this should close some roads in downtown Charleston. Be ready to use alternate routes this evening.

Onshore winds and the incoming new moon at perigee could drive moderate to major coastal flooding between 5-10 PM. Roads that don't normally flood during tidal events may flood this time, with overtopping of water possible on check valve-protected roads. High tide: 7:05 PM.
