The data from Eurostat is credible and clear. Ireland stands almost alone in the EU as the Almunia supplier for Russian weapons. This evidence damningly refutes the claims of plant mgt and michael martin. No can kicking or reports required. It must be forced to cease immediately.

Irelands image abroad is taking a beating over the crazy unjustifiable decision to support almunia exports to Russias war supply chain. We do not provide arms support, nor align on common EU defence, we are abandoning shelter and now this! FFG this is unforgivable.

Micheál Martin said yesterday sanctioning Aughinish would hurt Europe more then it hurts Russia. However new figures obtained by The Irish Times show that this year 83% (200,619 tonnes) of alumina exports went to Russia. The amount exported he EU was 149 tonnes (0.6%)
