@BruceNorth46058 But there’s still debate of which manuscripts are better, how material was selected for inclusion / exclusion, and whether the narratives are historically accurate. And the body of evidence doesn’t cleanly point to one church organization / denomination as a sole source of truth.

@BruceNorth46058 But doing that just gets us into the same ballpark as the rest of biblical scholarship. For the Bible, we have copies of early manuscripts in their original languages (with some debate among variants), with external use of those languages to validate translation.
