@CPapasergio i was there, my first out of town Dead show. After Music Never Stopped, Jerry took off his guitar, but Phil ran over to him and held up his finger "one more." Garcia assented, and they went into Scarlet Begonias.

@QueenCityJamz This was the Regency I at 1320 Van Ness SF. Opened Dec ‘67. Building constructed 1911 as Scottish Rites Temple. Regency II, opened Dec ‘69, around the corner at 1268 Sutter was also part of former Scottish Rites Temple. Previously the Avalon Ballroom.

@CalBearsHistory @Cal @jerrygarcia Just to be clear, it's the one a few buildings back that's at a 90-dgree angle to the station (the building is on University Ave). @gratefulseconds didn't you work in that building about 70 years later?

@CalBearsHistory @Cal I believe that the 4-story square building facing towards the station (not the elaborate Edwardian house) was the building next to what became Keystone Berkeley. @JerryGarcia played Keystone 243 times, among other things.
