Yes this is little to do with what I usually post, but tonight I have felt the lowest mentally and emotionally in a long time and seek solace in spirituality before sleep. Sandalwood incense, meditation, and music to defy negativity.. it’s only the best I can do so far. Sorry.

@boilingsulphur Probably about 3 feet long! I’ve seen much bigger before, but they are completely harmless despite their feisty attitudes. This one was so ornery with me! At first he flattened out to look bigger and when that didn’t work, he pretended to be a rattle snake by shaking his tail!

TW: Snake . I found another water snake today! A bigger one! Or rather, it found me. I was waiting for my crow family to show to be fed and this dude came slithering under my window! He was very upset with being picked up but I had to get pics of those gorgeous markings!!!

Along with the clover I gathered yesterday, I also harvested some wild bergamot from a patch I discovered about a week ago and hung them in a bunch to dry for tea! They have a pleasant smell similar to a mix of mint and eucalyptus.

I feel a new obsession coming on Starting small, but hand carving wooden things is something I have wanted to start trying for YEARS now and I’m so excited to start finding wood pieces on my land to try working with!
