@mmjukic I’m enjoying the post but it’s way more nuanced than that. All planes do that. The 737 just did it at the wrong time cause the computer was “mistaken” Also they did tell everyone (pilots and so) thru an airworthiness directive. Still criminal not to ground the fleet. Just my 2c.
@kristineberth @mmjukic All comercial planes have stall protection systems which include some sort of stick shaker and pusher and auto trim. The MCAS was new.. but most transport category airplanes when detecting a stall will nose down. The mcas just got the stall wrong cause it relied on 1 sensor
