Can we just note this—The Bulwark and the New York Times heavily implied that Pete Hegseth’s tattoos that had nothing to do with being a Nazi were a massive red flag while Graham Platner’s actual Nazi tattoo was no big deal. They ran interference for a man who had at one point so embraced Nazi ideology that he permanently marked his body with their most extreme symbol while at the same time heavily implying that a man who has never had anything to do with Nazis and roundly condemns them was guilty of white supremacy because of vibes. The hypocrisy would be insane if it weren’t so predictable.
