We did most of the work back when Cider was open source, and it led to a lot of financial and time depravities that we sunk a lot of our lives to and really turned us in a sour direction. We don't advertise ourselves as open source, haven't for a while. Cider 2.x+ onwards have a completely different codebase and shares zero similarities to the open source version which we intentionally archived to allow people to build on as a stepping stone of their own. Community built means we answer to a lot of feedback and build things directly off that feedback, it doesn't explicitly need to be an open source project and even on that front we have Plugin and Theme SDK's for that reason to allow people to build for themselves. We're not evil, we don't even use the stars from that repository as it's archived so what good would that do us? I can't control that number without sacrificing that aforementioned stepping stool for others. So please don't lie and say we're doing something we're not. Thank you.

I’ve kinda kept to myself for the last four years, so I’d love to know where these claims of vile and evil behavior are coming from provided it's not that 4 year old reddit post from when I was a teenager cause I promise you i'm not that guy. When you surround yourself with terrible people you kinda become what you eat and ultimately that's all that was. It's why I'm not nearly as 'receptive' to random folks talking to me and why I don't respond to a lot of things I previously sunk myself into out of a lack of better self worth. It's just part of figuring out who you are growing up around the internet; mistakes build character, some people do it worse than others, but in the end i'd like to consider myself a much better person if not a completely different person than I was 4 years ago. I do own my mistakes, and if I have offended you in someway in the past I do apologize. I don't expect you to support what I do, but at least be somewhat respectful in the element of derogatory cat calling, I really do appreciate it just as I appreciate you.

It shows two options if Stripe supports adaptive pricing in your region. We increased the price from 3.49 to 8.49, but that was before we made the regional pricing change. We needed to better offset our expenses and developmental challenges so we increased things now that we're running the whole show in terms of playback logistics.

hmm gee, its almost as if cloudflare has broken page rules that disallow us from whitelisting paths from our general sales bot protection because nobody bothered to vet it at cloudflare. not that you'd care because clearly you seem to get a rise at getting mad at us for lemme get this straight... giving you more free things with your purchase? the CPU usage isn't a problem by the way maybe don't use expensive effects! we have vetted performance multiple times throughout this development cycle and can confirm Cider will live comfortably on 0.1% of global cpu resources as we explicitly designed things to take advantage of SIMD instructions for complex sort logic handling and WGPU texture caching for complex GPU operations. of course, unless you have a broken computer without hw acceleration which isn't our fault, your cpu shouldn't be doing a gpus job. insane behavior by the way to go as far as to call us incompetent and compare us to a trillion dollar company at the same time but hey why not shit all over an indie group for doing what apple can't do for you maybe better spend that time listening to how intensive audio work is on processors instead to understand the hardships of what we do! youtu.be/y-NOz94ZEOA

@fourflipper @uwukko They've been actually listening to feedback, I actually used to sit on LTSC for a while up until the last 2 months after hearing that. And yeah, I can definitely confirm it feels way better than it ever did at launch or compared to 24H2.

Bazzite looks like garbage (more of a KDE issue), XP is also riddled in modern accessibility issues. W10 is just shitty touch tiles and lazy UI design from W8 (which nobody loved), W11 is cohesive with the fact it has a proper design language and Microsoft has been doing a very good job with trying to optimize things lately. It's not really an issue nowadays as surprising as that is to say.
