If I'm traumatically crashed into, would it be ok (not saying one should) for me to crash into others risking further harm to myself and others? I just want to be in control over the situation, right, and I am - I can push the brakes whenever!

@yumpickles09 OP was equating being a woman with constant sexual harassment since childhood. That's a universal claim... I'm not downplaying anything. All I'm saying is that that doesn't conform to ALL women's lived experience.

And the worst part of this is that men like Chris think they are the "good ones". Meanwhile they continously contribute to the idea that men have the monopoly on making truth claims and that women can only and do only respond in an emotional manner.

As she points out, it's imperative that we refuse the myth of sex specific "virtues". Not only does the insistence on female weakness keep us physically dependent on and vulnerable to men, it also helps to justify and thus reproduce male supremacy - "weak women need strong men".
