My 12 year old did an AI mock up and proposal to me this morning to turn our side yard into a Motocross track for him and his friends. He checked the local ordinances for set backs and figured out the cost. LOL hard to say no, but no. Wild wild time to raise kids.

Buffets will totally cut off people who try to take 50 plates of crab. It's obviously antisocial behavior. They will at minimum expect you to eat your previous plates before going for more, but might just kick you out if they think you're being too greedy. There's "no limit" except for pathological cases and that's honestly a good thing.

This is true for a lot of people and it's worth saying so people don't feel obligated to go down that path. But what's kind of funny is that I bought a nice car in 2019 and have absolutely loved it the entire time. I actually didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. It made me realize that spending the extra money really does bring extra happiness sometimes. I realize that I'm somewhat of a car guy! It's great to find out where you should spend big money

@RhysSullivan My current belief is that some subset of good engineering decisions do actually make things faster and better (see tigerbeetle), but it's a lot harder than people think. Most people end up slowing themselves down without actually adding much value.
