If it’s so true then why did you post a dozen replies with an image suggesting it wasn’t? Your argument would insinuate all those news stations that film protests, emergency situations in Paris, or any number of other things would be liable for an individual payment to everyone filmed. Simply isn’t the case so clearly there is more nuance than your providing.

What your suggesting is we should stall model growth rates so the US Govt bureaucracy can keep up. Sure lets do that, and watch CCP fly right past us in terms of advancements. If anything Govt techs need to move faster to keep pace with the NEXT thing that's already being tested while this one gets released. You think Anthropic doesn't already have a better iteration of Mythos/Fable 5 before they gave it to us? 😂

Irrelevant. The entire game they are playing is for early access, not restricting access & growth of the models in general. Further 30-60 days is about all they have before the NEXT frontier model from another player drops and they move to testing with that instead. If they can't do it in 60 days, they can't do it in 120 either 🤷‍♂️ and should probably move to air-gapping the critical stuff.

You mean like all the thousands of highly payed people that work for him? Why does he need CIA backing when he has more than their annual budget x10. And it’s not odd at all. Dude worked like 120+ hour weeks during the early x.com days, grew it into something still used by a large swath of the internet. Nobody made that one for him, he didnt steal someone else’s company. He built it, and convinced everyone to use it. The sale of PayPal obviously financed everything that came next. And if the CIA was pushing his success then why did he come so close to losing it all I those early Tesla when he gambled it all and then doubled down starting Boring and SpaceX. You clearly have no clue what it takes to build a scaled company, the time and dedication, the trust you put in others to do the jobs as you grow, the walls that bring things to a screeching halt etc. Read the biography, whose author was quite critical of him, and still had to admit he couldn’t keep up with Elon on the best of days.

Both assumptions miss the mark here as it’s not holding updates back 24 hours, it’s just not serving them to auto updating sites right away. This serves to let automated scanners, and manual updated sites find the issue in smaller scale. Reduces the effect of the compromise. All recent attacks would never have been as big if not for auto updates. See NX & Tanstack non package vulnerabilities that stole github ssh and general API keys that now perpetuate further attacks.

Completely misread the article it seems. It specifically stated auto updates will be held. You know when you opt in for update in the background while you sleep. You can still go to Plugins or updates screen and manually do it. This just prevents wide spread supply chain attacks. See this thread x.com/daniel_iser/st…

You misunderstood. Only auto updates will be held. You can still go in to your sites admin and click update immediately manually. For years though WP pushed users to opt in to background auto updates while they sleep. Now that is a security vulnerability in itself as hackers compromise the supply chain producing the updates. @KatieKeithBarn2 @WisprFlow @tryvoiceink FYI parakeet processes 1hr of audio in ~30s, and a 1 minute audio sample should take less than ~0.25s. So faster than you can talk by a lot unless you add AI enhancement latency.

Then your neglecting like the media to include gang violence in your conclusions. Gang violence accounts for majority of “mass shootings” in the US but don’t get headlines. And nearly all of those are non-white offenders. All of the reports claiming whites made up majority of ~200 mass shootings over 4 decades ignored the 30+ mass shootings per year in just Chicago to make that point. They literally have to change the definition from “mass shooting” to “mass casualty event” and even still report the findings under “mass shooting”. Further they purposefully ignore gang violence with a narrower list of criteria for “motivation”. Simply put they boxed in the stats to overrepresent whites and underrepresent anyone else. Every gangland shooting has potential to be a mass shooting for fuck sake. They spray indiscriminately into crowds to hit one person (or no target at all).

True, it was originally just intended for the crazy stuff my own agent was trying to generate, hence "agent" not "agents", but as a micro service was quite useful to all the persistent agents in our mastermind group. Historical connotations aside its actually fairly accurate description.
