@LUrbaniste Zoning that limits streetwalls (or buildings) to a certain height regardless of the width of the street right of way they're on - better to think of streetwalls as a ratio to the width of the street (e.g. 1:1 or 1:1.5 or 1:2)

It’s VERY important that #Vancouver’s Downtown Business Association, who were originally against downtown bike-lanes, have now become one of their most vigourous supporters, because of the evidence that they are better for downtown business than any street parking they replaced.

@emilymillerHFX @jbbikes @WayeMason Jb, is the ped/bike route through DND an official detour? I complained to 311 a couple weeks back when it was particularly messy that there was no guidance for bikes/peds here during construction and they gave me a 311 equivalent to a shoulder shrug

@mn_ville @kyleplans @Rossitus Always will be a workout until we get a slingshot at the base. But also I'm not sure if there's a noticeable difference between 12 and 13%. More important is intersection design, lights timing and vehicle volume/movements and whether you can go slow and steady vs stop and start.
