@MoneySavingExp I asked for one simple to avoid getting on my knees to read the meter . It has worked without a hitch so far. I have been able to move to a pay on receipt of bill system . I was in so much credit I did not pay anything from last June until this month.

@MSE_Deals My supermarket budget ( mostly delivered) is 700 a month for two. Includes a weekly contribution to food bank. Usually has positive balance at the end of financial year . Includes all alcohol cleaning materials etc. prices rising but adjustments made to compensate partly

@Pillboxman @SocialistNHS If you read the remit of the NHS pay review board you would see that it is constraint by government. So effectively the government sets the limits of pay. The review board just determines the distribution. The word independent is a misnomer.

My New EON rate is way above the price cap around 52p /Kwhr. Account says my existing bill is 146 pounds per YEAR and the new 188 pounds per Month. Clearly a bit of disarray at EON.
