@UpSchlitzCreek @evernote @evernote Perhaps this problem isn't being reported more widely because it doesn't affect my devices that upgraded naturally. I happened to uninstall and re-install the app on this device. So, it might only affect users who have old accounts but installed fresh on Android.

@UpSchlitzCreek @evernote @evernote Same for me. I created a support request about it too. The problem occurs when you start evernote from a fresh install with an old account and then after it works fine, it shows a popup saying it will "optimize the app" on the next start. Then this.
