@earlystopmma @PSUBarstool I think about this all the time, but the truth is B1G TV money makes men’s bball one of the few sports that *earn* money. Most other sports are in the red and are funded by money from fball and men’s bball.

@MarkWogenrich Were there any specifics about the costs for non-revenue sports? I think a piece that’s always missing from discussions of big-money football is how it funds scholarships and program costs for all the sports that don’t generate revenue (or at least it did when I was a student).

@MarkCharran Part of me hopes this announcement came through once the plane was already in the air because that would be hilarious. Another part of me hates this because it creates a “win one for the gipper”-type scenario for a team that prob doesn’t need extra motivation.

@JGulinoYahoo It would be pointless, as we all know Reid draws them on the players’ faces while they sleep. That Mahomes remains unaware is a credit to how sneaky Reid is about it.
