@LVNiteOwl @mattvanswol I agree, it's worth considering. US citizenship carries, or at least should be made to carry, obligations as well as rights. Alien parents of a child newly born in the US should be encouraged by whatever means to renounce the child's US citizenship.

@jwludwig @GudTroubl2 @RealKahall Maybe the US should not recognize the concept of dual citizenship. Require the alien parents of a newly born child of theirs to make an election: the child is either a citizen of the US or a citizen of the parents' country with US citizenship renounced.
